Jeet...I have tried to put my own imagination in interpreting your poem..Do tell me how far I am correct !!!

na sehar hai na sham hai
mujhe bas ek teri hi talash hai

The poet is alone, and awaits and search for his lost love. When a day starts and ends he does nt realize...to him all the days are same...just because his love is not with him !!

jiyon kaise tujh bin sanam
na samjhe kyun mere jazzbaat hai

His life seems to be meaningless without her, without her love....he complians (shikwa) to her that he loves her so much, and still she is not able to undestand his feelings and his love.

teri nighain kyun hai badal gayi
aor bardti hi rahi meri pyaas hai

He again ask her that why she has changed..why is not the same girl who used to love him so much...and her absence in his life is increasing the poet's desire to see her, to be with her more and more each day !!

khaata na koi ,gunaah na koi
phir kyun tu naraz hai

Now he is asking her that what is his fault !! His love was selfless and he loved her so much...he had never hurt her in his knowledge so why she has gone from his life, whe she has left her !!

Now the poet is a bit lost and complains to her that she was the one who even knew what he was thinking what he was feeling...She used to read his mind, and his heart then why she is not able to know and to feel his pain...that her absence in his life is making her so much sad and lifeless !!

Talat ji .... aapne bahoot achi tarah interpret ki hai poem....  upar wale Quotes mein mujhe sirf ek baat sahi nahi lagi aapki..  she didnt left or gone out of my life .... sirf naraz hai ......

my theme to this poem is .... pyar mein narazgi  jab hadh se bard jati hai tab dil bahoot dukhta hai . main shabdon ke sath itna nipun (perfect) nahi hu, bas koshish karta rehta hu .........ho sake toh app ek bar iss theme ko soch kar poem pado.

Again a wonderful piece of work Jeet... and Very Well Explained Talat...


Jeet, This Poem as a whole depicts the feelings one get when he/she is in love with someone who is a victim of misunderstanding and the Misunderstanding between them have bought a long distance among their relationship.....

Love at one side is still the Same but the Other side have been changed...


I am trying my part to describe it in my words... Please forgive for mistakes....

Na sehar hai na sham hai
mujhe bas ek teri hi talash hai

The poet is in wait for his love continuosly who is not with him for time being.. He is so much in wait that it hardly matters for him whether it is day or when comes dawn… The start of day for the poet is when he meets his love and when she is not with him.. these things such as rise of day and its end has no meaning for him…

Here Poet wonders why her beloved could not understand his feelings, his emotions and his love for her…  The Poet is in dilemma and dont know how could he live without his love…

He is again wondering how his beloved’s feelings have changed, how the outlook of her love towards the poet could have changed. The Girl must have changed her feelings and love, but the poet’s love and desire to get his love is increasing day by day…

The Poet is asking her Beloved that why is she angry with him, why she has changed so much without any fault on his part and without any mistake he had made in loving her…

The poet is sad and asking that how could she changed so much...
She (His Beloved) was once in true love with him…She could know him better that he do… She knows his feelings, his love, his pains and everything in his heart… But today when she is changed, she had not guessed even that the Poet is so sad and depressed… and the reason behind his sadness…

mujhe na din ka hosh hai na  hi mujhe raat ka khayal rehta hai. mera har ek din ,ek ek pal sirf tumhari (my beloved) hi yaad mein gujar raha hai... main har taraf ,har kissi mein sirf  tumhein hi dhoondh.Ta phir raha hu. tum jo mere pass nahi ho mujhe kissi ki bhi kuch bhi khabar nahi rahi. main bas tumhare hi intezar mein hu....

tum kayun badal gaye ho. kayun mujhse door ho gaye hai... main tumhein dekhne ke liye pal pal maar raha hu.. har pal mujhe tumhari talaab (payaas) bardti ja rahi hai...jitna tum mujhse khud ko door kar rahe ho utna hi main tadap raha hu...

main nahi jaanta ..mujhse kya galti ho gayi hai,aisa maine kya kar diya hai  jo tum mujhse itna ruth gaye ho....

tum toh mera mann pard lete the.. mere har dil ki baat bina kahe jaan lete the ... main tumhare bagair til til maar raha hu phir yeh tum kayun nahi ehsaas ho raha..main bahoot udhass hu aaj,par tumhein yeh kayun mehsoos nahi ho raha ....
