Happy Birthday, Mommy

Mommy, your place is above all in this world,
my love for you can never be expressed in words.
Mommy, you always guide me in everything I do,
I can never think of hurting someone like you.
Someone who is so true at her heart's core,
whose love grows day by day, more and more.
For my happiness, always, with special effort,
mommy, you are always there to give me comfort.
You put my life well, and set things right,
& show me the path from darkness to the light.
Not any usual day mommy, today's your birthday,
Lots of love from your son, on this special day.
I'll always be with you as your good friend,
so that the happiness in our lives never end.
If my wishes can make it special in some way,
here's wishing you a very very happy birthday!

By the way, a girl Nida was asking me if he can gift this poem to her mom, for her mom's upcoming birthday. This made me think it's very well written.

Yes, She told me she's basically from India, and also gave me her email address in one of her comments on my poems, and said, she'll like to be friends with me, but I lost it. Don't have enough time to look up now. But, I'll give her a comment and tell her, she can use this as a birthday poem, and ask her email ID once again. I think she'll be happy to hear from me.
