Twilight world of freedom

My twilight world of freedom
Is life without ways or means?
As I live in half existence
At least, that's what it seems

Should I now walk to freedom?
My past love would still remain
Embedded in my thoughts forever
With emotions time, time again

Life all around seems darkness
Tearful eyes are growing dim
If I should take this freedom
My whole heart would break within

One day I'll take this freedom
Try to leave past love behind
If but pain, time would diminish
I could find new peace of mind........[nm]
