Jawaan hain abhii, mat kaho, kal dhaleyngey!
Naye daag hain, mat kaho, kal dhuleyngey!!

Madadgaar hai aaj mousam hamaaraa;
Chalo aaj hee: mat kaho, kal chaleyngey!

Dahar ho chukey hain, sarey hijra hain ham;
Milo aaj hee: mat kaho, kal mileyngey!

Khiley, kyaa patah kab, gul-e-ishq; par, tum
Khilo aaj hee: mat kaho, kal khileyngey!

Bahut duur hain : un sitaaron kaa kyaa hai;
Hawaa mein hileyn! Mat kaho, kal hileyngey!!

Diye hain unhiin key: tabiibo suno to!
Naye ghaaw hain, mat kaho, kal sileyngey!!

Zaruurii hai kyaa aur, wasl-e-sanam sey!
Jalaao diye! Mat kaho, kal jaleyngey!!
