Sath ka arth be-arth ho chala
Ajj phir ek aor saal poora ho chala
Mil kar bichard gaye hum na jaane kab kaha
Dil mai hazaro sawalo ka phir akarman ho chala

Na samjhe tum, na samjhi main
Phir kyun ajj ankhon mai barsaat ka alam ho chala
Hai kahin ander chipi hu nafrat aor gussa
Phir ajj kayun, tujhse pyar ho chala

Tujhko to shayad, yaad  bhi na hoga ajj ka din
Jaan kar bhi yah sab, man ko ek intzaar ho chala
Sath ka arth be-arth ho chala
Ajj phir ek aor saal poora ho chala!!!

Kahna tha bahoot kuch, kyun hum chup rah gaye
Dil he dil karte rahe tujhse baatein, samne lub chup rah gaye

Beetaya kitna waqat sung sung, ek duje se kaya kaya kah gaye
Jee rahi hu ajj bhi un palo main, bas wo he pal sung rah gaye

Yaadon ki barsaat main na jaane kitne ashaq beh gaye
Tum to chla diye apni raah, hum wahin ke wahin rah gaye

Khayal aor yah mere shabd, bas yahi pass rah gaye
Atte ho bahoot yaad ajj bhi, lo hum phir se yah kah gaye…..

Mujhe unhi yaad atte rahna
Chahe dil dukhate rahna
Isi roop mai chahe raho sirf mere liye
khayalo main he sath nibhate rahna

man behal hi jaata hai rone ke baad
dard ke hado se paar karate rahna
muskura dete hai lub, suhani yaadon se
kabhi kabhi aise bhi hansate rahna

Mujhe unhi yaad atte rahna
Chahe dil dukhate rahna………

Dekha tha jab tumhe anteem baar
Daant the gusse mai tum kichkicha rahe
Asamjh se hum khare the ajnabio main
Ankhon mai the Ashaq lehlaha rahe

Dekhein tumhe ya kar de undekha
Sawal kai the man main aa – ja rahe
Tum karte rahe shabdo ke vaar pe vaar
Kaya tum ho wahi, hum bas yahi the soche ja rahe

Ho wohi ki, koi ajnabi chala ayya tumhare bhesh main
Dil ko na jaane kaya kaya the hum samjha rahe
Ajnabio ke bich ek tum he to the mere apne
Phir kyun mujhko tum itna the sata rahe

Dekha tha jab tumhe anteem baar….
