Rog laga Baithe

Tanha tabhi the, abhhi hai.
tumhare tabhi the, abhhi hai.
hamse nazaren milana zaruri nahi.
ghayal tabhi the, abhhi hai.

yun chodkar hi jana tha, to zindagi me aye hi kyun the?
khwab todne hi the, to dikhyaye hi kyun the?
ham to vaise hi zidagi ke andheron me bhatak rahe the,
un andheron me roshni ki kiran ban kar aye hi kyun the?

log kehte hai, pyaar kaha kisi ka pura hota hai,
jab pyaar ka pehla shabd hi adhura hota hai,
vo kya jane ke pyaar vo shabd hai jo,
yaar ke prem se joodaa hua hota hai,

naadan to ham the, jo pyaar kar baithe,
us yaar ke prem ko dil se laga baithe,
jis rishte ko pyaar samjha, vo to dhoka tha phir bhi,
jaan-kar dil ka rog laga baithe...
