Na jane Q hume ansu bahana nahi ata,
na jane Q hale dil batana nahi ata,
Q sathi bichad jate hai hamesha humse,
shayad hume hi pyar nibhana nahi ata

Jab bhi koshish ki - hum aur haar gaye
Pana jisko chaha - us se aur dur hue
Khata meri ya uss mohabbat ki
Har baar hum ghumo se do chaar hue

Jo Hum khaamosh hue unhe laga thehraav aa gaya..
Unhe kya pata jo zalzala tha wo sada ki liye hume kuchal gaya

Unko suna kay dekhieay Afsaana-e-Khayal
Hum khush thay istarah kay sabhi kuch suna diya

Hasrat rehi ha mujhko sunaien wo Haal-e-Dil
Phir main bhi yeh kahon k haan mera bhi yehi haal hai

shahar-e-mohabbat, hijr ka mausam, ahd-e-wafa aur main
tu to is basti se khush khush chalagaya, aur main ?

to jo na ho tu jaise sab ko chup lag jaati hai
aapas main kia baat karte raat, diya aur main!!

Dil ke zakhm bhi dhikaye nahin jate
Tabhi chod jate hai sathi mujhe sare
Mujh se juthe afsane sunaye nahin jate !!

Pehle sitamgar bankar kiya hamare dil ko zakham

lafz bayaan nahi hotey hain, aakhir kyon..
ashq bhi behne se inkaar karte hain, aakhir kyon
wafaa ka sila toh yeh na hua karta tha
phir aaj unki ungliyan uth rahi hain , aakhir kyon?

ussi chirag ney mera aashiyaan jalayaa hai

bachata tha jissko hawa key aik jhonkey sey bhi
