in the silent paths u left me alone
where my mind trembled and heart moaned
my own heartbeat threatened me
my own breaths left my company
i found my steps trickling
my own reflection denied my existence
i held my arms high to grab u - to get u back
but they were really jammed like tied in a sack
i opened my mouth to utter u not a goodbye
but whatever came was just a sigh after sigh
then i shut my eyes as i couldnt see u go
but my tears came rushing to and fro
lashez got wet and cheeks were burning
all i knew was u were not returning
something happened and my arms went up
lips get to open and eyes were no more shut
then i left not a word to bring u back again
but all my efforts my strivings got in vain
u never listened the words i spoke
u never saw my eyes and its flaming stroke
then i fell down where u had left ur traces
n felt like tied up with bars and laces
i unwillingly lied down again with a hope that one day u'll return
and will do all the work that was left undone
will come and take me along with my vanity
but this is just a fake reality
i kept on lying there with a more wanting spirit
everything seemed to be so changed in a minute
since then im lying down hopelessly
just breathing and living helplessly
