Unke larazte hothon ne di lakhon ko jindagi,
Kyu hum hi unke deedar ke kabil nahi hue.
Na samajh sake wo hame ya hum nahi samajhe,
Chune chale the chand ko aur khud jhulas gaye.
Kuch gam nahi phir bhi hame jab bhi kabhi socha,
Pyar na sahi, hum dard ke layak to ho gaye.
Gar pyar mein jeete toh wo bhi tha kya jeena,
Iss dard ki kasak mein unki yad toh shamil,
Wo na samajh sake hame toh gam nahi uska,
Har pyar ko hoti nahi manjil kabhi hasil.
