Mr. Naveed, its a new feature and every thing is not perfect from begining, it just get better as the time rolls so if you are uncomfortable then we will see.
Other people are also requested to post their views about this new feature.
I think 85 words limit is fine.. See here i have posted 200 words already !

YOU KNOW I HAVE AN TOPIC IN QUOTES FORUM AND THEER ARE MANY QUOTES THAT ARE LESS THAN 85 SIMILARLY MANY TOPICS IN CHIT CHAT THAT ARE NEED LESS THAN 85.

i do agree with naveed as in chit chat forum their are lot of topics whre in we have to write only 3 works or has to write only one word in renaming the person above you.
Admin you will also agree that many SMS which are only of 2 lines 60 - 70 alphabets
also please note that rule of 85 character can be very easily countered by pressing any one character key for long.
so please look into the same and help us to be as before.

mujhe khusi hue new feature se.... is se accha kuch aur nahin ho sakta....85 char... bahot jyada nahin hain.... yeh unko jyada lagega jo sirf chat karte hain... yahi main admin ko kahne waala tha.... main aur tosha dono isi baare mein baat kar rahe the.. well admin...... i agree with u...... all new feature are very good..........

It will only affect new posts, old post even with single character will be remain intact at their place.
And we are not saying that this feature will be their or we will not reduce it. We are looking for member's response and after few days if it will required then we will do the changes accordingly.

in chit chat you can reduce the limit to say minimum 15 char. but tell us y this bindness on chit chat fourm.
cit chat can be with only a smiley or just ya. it all depens what other person is writing.
please review your decission.

I THINK ALL THE POSTS IN CHIT CHAT SHOULD NOT BE COUNT AND THE RESTRICTION THERE SHOULD BE REMAINED.
BUT IN OTHERS FORUMS IT SHOULD BE DECREASED URGENTLY. AND THE FORUM FUNNY POETRY SHOULD BE CLOSED BECAUSE THERE IS JUST CHIT CHAT AND I THINK ITS NOT BETTER.

Umm..
I have mostly posted some odd post. For me its not a problem, infact it can be considered as good move, according to the limit should be lowered to 35 characters.
