PROTEST RALLY FOR HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS FOR KASHMIRI HINDU

India is facing its worst ever attacks from extremists and terrorists based within and outside the nation. It isn't anymore limited to pockets in the country. It affects all of us.
It seems terrorists can strike at will and they have amply demonstrated that will and cruelty time and again. Be it the train bombers of Mumbai or the ones who killed innocent shoppers in Delhi. They are all of the same ilk.
"Roots in Kashmir" is initiative of the youth of Kashmir dedicated to raise awareness about the issues and problems faced by the sufferers of terrorism. It is ironical that so many human rights organizations and even governments walk that extra step to ensure decent trails and good living conditions for perpetrators of terror, yet when it comes to the peace loving innocent citizens these very organizations and even the government does not bother to improve their living conditions. Lip service and pity is all that they get, while what they need is care, compassion and up-liftment of their living conditions from sub-human conditions.
As a first initiative Roots in Kashmir is organizing a protest rally to highlight the pitiful conditions of more than 50,000 Kashmiri Hindus who have been living in various camps in Jammu for the last 17 years.
The government has failed to provide decent living conditions to these unfortunate people who have been driven out of their homes by terrorists operating in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Hundreds of their kith and kin have been murdered and the terrorists who murdered them have still not been brought to book, surprisingly some have been released.
The government has willfully encroached the land belonging to various shrines and temples.
It seems as if government is fulfilling what the terrorists had planned to. eliminate the whole community.
We request the support of the entire nation and appeal to the collective consciousness of this great nation to make this rally a success by participating in this humane endeavour.It is a cause of the nation and we solicit your presence at 3PM ,10th of Dec,06 at Jantar Mantar.
Let us all make a pledge to ensure that human rights are protected in this country and everyone feels secure and protected. We must raise our voice to ensure that the terrorists don't go scot free and kill more innocent people. It is for us to wake up the authorities from the slumber that they are in.
Please be there….Together we will ensure that Human rights are for everyone and not just terrorists…..

Yes I am definately gonna join to make my country free from Terrorism...How abt you..?

I dont' think such activities can do any good to the nation. Corruption is the root cause of all problems, and we so called educated people generally ignore it at its primary stages.... I mean most of us prefer to bribe the traffic police man with 50 Rs. rather than getting a challan. When we face the same problem of corruption at a higher level, we curse our luck, politics of our country and blame one or the other thing. We are always ready to discuss politics, criticize our politicians.. infact now a days it's such an interesting topic that people waste hours gossipping. but when it comes to discussing a solution to it, we found it quite boring.
You know nobody in US or England discuss Politics.... they do it.
Most of the parents are worried about good education for their kids, they pay lakhs of rupees in donation.... But do they care what their kids actually learn.

I know I am going off topic but still I feel that all these things are linked to each other....
