Agree .. it helps motivate the members ... but there have to be "specific" rules defined for the same

and I feel ... the members dont vote for the deserving candidate .. but for their friends .. could see tht when the nominations were going on

In my personal opinion there should be no polling !

Yoindia is a place where people from all parts of the world converge to write and read good shayari.

There are almost 11,000 registered users now on Yoindia. :D

I think we should be encouraging and appreciating the good work of poets and poetesses rather than pitching them against each other unnecessarily in different categories.

And i don't think 30 - 40 votes can decide who is the best.

DK has very rightly pointed out some reality in his comments. :D

Let's keep Yoindia a non politicized platform for everyone to visit and express themselves and interact with each other without any competition. :lol:

one thing i must add that Every thing in this world have Positive n Negative aspects.. If we think think positive then we r positive n vice-a-versa...

Rajbir ji , I agree with you.. 30-40 votes cant decide  who is Best...  There r many users who come regularly,post some gud stuff  but dont take part in general discussion actively ....

In My views competitions are just for fun .... nothing beyond that...

Its simply for the reason that people write here to express their emotions and feelings..This should not be rated at all...

And when someone writes to express his/her emotions and feelings, someone somewhere in some part of the world feels or understands this person's emotions and feelings and replies back. And there is lot of appreciation and respect for each other amongst members here on Yoindia.
