Complaint----Old Yoindia

I have posted a poem in English section.... 'VICTORIA’ IN DRAGNET' but when  I click the link it goes to old Yoindia ...I have to the reply through the  profile link  of shikha ji.....as she has given  a feedback to that poem....Please do  the  needful.......Harash

The problem has been fixed with you, it was caused due to usage of some symbol in title of your post which were clashing with programming languages symbol.
As you can see that Yoindia create URL of a poem based upon its title, if title are having some uncommon letters then there might be problem as it may sometime confuse the system, however we have noted this problem and from time to time we resolve such issues.

Well ... i just don't understand this NEW Look!!

call me biased or stupid!!
I can't understand how to change my profile ... siggi ...etc!!

to make a new post ... one has to every time use that one 1 ONE link on the top of the page ... very frustrating.

This completely puts me off ... and never want to come back again.

Changes are always welcomed ... change is a way of life ... but change for a worst ... is insane!!

Orange colour is so unfriendly for the eyes of people like me who’s eyes are weak… it is a pain to stair on the screen trying to read wts written. The Gray background looks so gloomy like I’m using Microsoft word and not a lively site called YoIndia!!

I know my words may look like crap … like I’m being highly negative. But its just that I’m suffering.

Suffering to come on yoindia … this has been the reason ever since yoindia got its new look I never came. As I never wanted to complain … but there is an erg that drags me back and every time I login I get frustrated.

I’ll try my best for two things 1. never complain again … that would mean not come back again.

2. try and adapt … which my eyes don’t let me do.

All I can say that you are looking for old Yoindia in new Yoindia but it is changed.
About that submit your poetry link, new Yoindia too has similar function as old Yoindia to Start a thread, goto whatever section you want to go..  example "Shayari-Khumar-e-Ishq" ..
There on the right side you will find the link to start new topic.

Anyway, I will adopt some measures to make sure that its noticable.

That "Submit Poetry Now" was added for the convenience of new Users.

Signature and profile is little more enhanced, you need to get little used to, thats it.

I did say I might sound biased … and you’ve pointed out very well. Not pleased any way.

This "Submit Poetry Now" icon was cent percent not there on the day I posted my complaint. So please answer first and then make changes. From next time I’ll print screen and keep records.

Thank you again for accepting that yoindia in now a lot more complicated and very unfriendly in terms of various functions like Signature and profile. Hope you’ll be publishing a user guide soon.

You may easily work around profile by going to :
Profile >> Forum Profile Information
Thats it, every important thing like siggi and avatar can be changed from there.

About that button, it is there right from the begining. May be it was not able to get your attention.
