it is a custom in india that the natural things are being worshiped as god so that we should take care the nature and their elements.i think in this context swamiji said that  that it is not water but amrit for the indians..........

some saints disagree with that veiw that the amrit of ganga is made for clear ur sins....some of them is posted here......

NAAWAN CHALLE TIRTHI TAN KHOTE MAN CHOR................GURU NAANAK

   they all thinks that if our heart is not pure there is no need to go to tirath (guru nanak)and if it is pure the ganga is in our tub (bhakt ravidas)and if u can realise the god by bathe in rivers the frogs and tortoise should realise the god first(bhakt kabir).

so it is the reason of difference.............

otherwise if we will think that it is amrit we will care for our rivers and not pollute them.............must be the reason to say that it is amrit for us.although all the water must be treated as amrit because there is no life without water.

Mann changa to kathouti mein Ganga!!

Well i think we need not to worry bout ganga. Exactly What i wanted to say is we shud worry bout the things which we would hav created or belongs to human Organisations, since this great river has been gifted to the land of India by Lord Shiva and may be sum other Bhagwaan Logg (I dont have proper knowledge bout that) and only god himself can decide the future of ganga and our's too, its okay that we can Discuss about the condition being of it. Aaur waise maine idhar se sikha hai ki Jo Bana hai usko barbadd bhi hone ka hai.

Chota moonh bahut baadi baadi baat bol gaya mai . . . . . Probably i dont use to say anything between you learnt personalities bcz i even dont have a single percent of knowledge like as ppl here hav!

Kuch galat shalat bola ho maafi !!

what i think is if Swami Vivekanand has said something, then it menas something.......whether we understand it or not..........
