nishi n talat
tum dono saheli lagta hai mujhe bhool gayi
aapas me hi shayeri likhi mere baare me bhol gayi

koi baat nahi main ne tum dono ke liye kuch likha hai
jis ko jo line pasand aaye rakh lena ab ki jhagda mat karna

janib se unki jab se ishare hume mile
kya kahiye, kaise kaise nazaare hume mile

jab se mile hai wo to maiesser hai her 'khushi'
khoye hue wo phir se sahaare hume mile

bin unke bhatak rahe the bahr-e-yas me
wo aise hai mile jyun kinaare hume mile

wo chaand ye sitaare khaan the 'kismat' me
wo mil gaye yu chaand sitaare hume mile

jin ki talaash kar rahe the hum to chaman chaman
dekho bahaaro se bhi, wo pyaare hume mile

tha intezaar jinka humaari nigaahon ko
phir se wo 'sam' dekho, humaare hume mile
