Wo bathein purani wo kissa purana
Kis.se yaad rakhna kis.se bhool jana

Sukoon mere dil ko deta nahi
Ab haule-haule se tera muskurana

Khushi hai kahi toh kahi hai matam
Chalan waqt ka hai rulana-hasana

Kisii ko koyi yaad rakhe to kaise
Matlab ke sath khudgarz hai zamana

Jahan umeedon ke diye jal rahe ho
Chalo chalke dhoonde aisa tikana

Kahi koyi chingari shayad bhadak ute
Bhuji aag ko hai fir ched jana

Tha "Roja" ko wafa main yeh bhi manjoor
Khelna dil se tera fil dil tod jana
