SIR/ALLAMA IQBAL: 9 Nov 1877 - 21 Apr 1938 Muhammad Iqbal was initialy a philosopher poet of great eminence. Lot of his poems were published in the text books like Murakka-e-Adab for schools. He was a great patriot is shown by his poem Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Humaraa. His next line in the same poem, Mazhab Nahin Sikhaataa Aapas Mein Bher Rakhnna is a living proof of his tolerance for all religions.
In 1922 he was knighted by King George with a title of 'Sir'. It appears he completely changed thereafter and became a ardent politician. He became the main inspiration for the creation of Pakistan.
