A Distance !

           
   'A distance:
        Large or small:
        Is a distance, after-all!

  And,
  Distances are known,
  To cause unrest athwart,
  In loving bodies-souls;
Making them pine,
And pang;
  As if,
  Sorrows,
  In a gang
  Of endless, countless heads,
  Keep on pouring,
  To siege,
  The castles
  Of love-birds,
  From all directions,
                       Lands and Heavens alike,
                   Almost around the clock: and incessantly!'
