A friend is like a flower,
A rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
That never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
Both beautiful and wise.
A friend is like a heart that goes
Strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world
If we didn't have a friend...

No matter where we go
or the distance in between
I’ll always be here for you
I hope you can be there for me

Everything we’ve had to go through
and everything still to come
I hope we can still stay friends
and help keep each other strong

You know I’ll always be by your side
if you need a helping hand
don’t be afraid to ask
you know you always can.
