An ode to unnoticed stars.......

There are millions of stars in the sky,
Some get noticed some just standby,
Among those unnoticed stars was I,
Willing to shine for u or just die.

Hoping to get noticed, always thinking why
I couldn’t get what was rightfully my?
No I am not making any claim as such
But was wanting a glance too much?
Its true that I love u and u don’t
And I know try what I might u wont
Tell me what do u think is to judge
One on the scale of brightness, is it just?
But I know however hard foul I cry
This would never change but why?

Why is it that to everyone who passes by
Only the brightest star delights the eye
God, I just want that one chance
Just to make him understand
That when worries are pressing u down a bit
And your problems make u sit
Then brightest is not the one who can
Make u fight them and stand
So tell me, tell me o passer by.
When would u understand?
That there is more to what meets the eye.

Anyways I know it’s just my fate
So I am really sorry, forgive me mate
For worrying you with all these facts
When I know god has made the pact
That no matter what is the number of stars in the sky
Brightest one will always get noticed
And u may ask what about the rest?
Rest my friend would just standby.
