Slowly, gently, camly i approach
waiting for the right moment
i so badly want to take her in my arms
this lil angel god has sent

quietly, lovingly, carefully i touch
not wanting to wake her up
gosh look those little fingers
shes so cute i could eat her up

sweetly, cutely, prettily she smiles
shes having a wonderful dream
the angels are making her laugh
her laugh as sweet as caramel cream

thankfully, gladly, happily i observe
and thank god for this wonderful gift
i love this lil niece of mine whos made
our lives content, and our spirits uplift.
