Heartbroken......eternal pain

Today rain falls through broken panes
and broken heart your sorrow among
wakes that dirge from graves of past
a single song that i had sung

Memoirs are gone with storm and spate
how days are changed in a wink of eye
how months have rolled how leaves rained
not even a farewell said I

Well city of past, forgotten home
streets are bathed in acid rain
over silent stairs melancholy sings
farewell fancy fair again

today wind weeps in broken trance
and broken heart your sorrow among
wakes that dirge from graves of past
a single song that i had sung

still whenever westward wind blows and blakish skies drizzle over a gloomy eve, i take out a shilling from the endless treasure of useless memoirs i have
