I ne'er was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet.
His face it bloomed like a sweet flower
And stole my heart away complete.

My face turned pale, a deadly pale.
My legs refused to walk away,
And when he looked what could I ail
My life and all seemed turned to clay.

And then my blood rushed to my face
And took my eyesight quite away.
The trees and bushes round the place
Seemed midnight at noonday.

I could not see a single thing,
Words from my eyes did start.
They spoke as chords do from the string,
And blood burnt round my heart.

Are flowers the winter's choice
Is love's bed always snow
he seemed to hear my silent voice
Not love appeals to know.

I never saw so sweet a face
As that I stood before.
My heart has left its dwelling place
And can return no more.

The waves may tend to sink
the winds may try their might
a single lie may de-link
envy may ablaze a fight

Pride may abuse u like
a lonely lass in the night
suspicion can desert u like
an ugly duckling amongst all white

Faith and truth are needed in love
like water needed to survive
our souls need a taste of true love
just like breath needed to stay alive..

I would walk around(star)
lost in sweet illusions
throught all nites alone
twinkled to the wild winds song..

Then u came along (moon)
with a spell in your eyes
and played the music
that i never felt before

And i had'nt got a clue
how this could ever be
the one i looked all over for
was just right behind me..

Head on your shoulder
your hand in mine
dreamt in your arms
but never did realize

Wished i could tell u
what u mean to me
how it really felt
deep there inside of me..

I know you've hurt too
but u never did complain
with unspoken words
our love will always remain..
