Look: now, those birds are making love!

   It’s spring:   omnipotence of love,
   Is manifesting ’round-above!
   All pair-less lives:    are in despair;
   And, disheartened are they, by Jove!
Our longings for ourselves are just!
     Look:  now, those birds are making love!

   Let’s dance like bees:
   In the scented breeze!
   Darling, let not these mingling cease!
   Midst that turmoil: let’s find our ease!!
Let eyes, eye us; and, let them blush!!
     Come! Look:  those birds are making love!

   Why should false hesitations cause
   All those swarming bees seek a pause?
   These couplings are pious, and natural!
   Why, one should not join in applause?
Let’s join them in their happiness;
     Come on!  Those birds are making love!!

   Look at those parrots, an’ sparrows!
   - And cupid’s fine flowery arrows!
   Won’t you rescue: if He shoots me
   With arrows shot from eye-brow- bows?

I’m confident you’ll side me soon;
     As now, those birds are making love!
