My loves regret

Oh how my heart aches
no one knows how it breaks
the many turns life had to take
so many tears shed,enough to fill a lake
i so wish i was so great
the hands of time would i religate
to the point where you could make
a more informed decision about your future fate

alas your hands i would never have to hold
not "i love you" to you could i have told
nor love would we have ever made
alas such a life would i hate
but at least your heart i would never have had to break
