I am a very new writer so please bere with me and comments are very much appreciated.

That night,
That summer night,
I lay in my bed,
A gentle wind whispered in the trees
And I felt your body next to mine
My head resting on your chest--
Your fragrance strong in my mind--
We lay there, silent
Not a single word uttered.
No sex, no making out,
Just laying there,
Laying there till our bodies became one--
Minds combined,
Souls attached,
In a peaceful sanctuary,
Our sanctuary.
