Though away from my eyes
gone forever never to return
you are always in my mind
you are therein my life as a constant factor
I treasure the days we spent together
sprawled under the mango tree
and the silly things we talked about
Still  in delight i fly into the sky
on the swing you tied on the Banyan tree
I still fly into the sky with utter delight
I still move stealthily around
 living those moments once again
when we ravaged the garden
collecting fruits that were forbidden
Still the fragrance fills my heart
of garlands we made for our mothers.
Still i taste lingers on my toung of
the sweetmeats you kept aside for me.
you have gone so far away
yet so near,in my life.
There is a corner in my heart
