R WE REALLY INDEPENDENT??????

i partly dedicate this poem to the heroes of different nations plus i ask a question to the world today....




they shed blood to give us wat we have,
they fought so that we dnt fite,
but they did it for no use,
wer they "useless" or we r "hopeless"

who cares about ppl in the past???
who thinks they wer heroes???
who reads their legendary remarks n stories n events???
who follows them???

giving them tributes isnt enuf,
showing the so-called respect isnt enuf,
celebrating the b-days with joy isnt enuf,
getting sad n sheddin tears on their death days isnt enuf either...

we r taught to respect them,
but do we follow their principles???
we r taught that they r our nations heros,
but do we consider them to be one by keeping them in our minds at all time???

can one's daughter move on the streets alone safely???
can one go to a crowded area assuring he wont b robbed or bombed???
is this the kind of independence they fought for???
r we rili independent???

is this independence???
is this wat we call independence wer a girl isnt safe in town alone???
is this the independence we want to live in???
the one question i ask "r we rili independent"

yes its not the independent our heroes fought for...n dats y i sumtimes cry wen i luk at the world as it is...blasts,rapes,murders....they sacrificed for peace n ppl r doing all dis....

is this the independence they fought for?

hmm if u have noticed its the young generation putting their minds on new ways of destruction as u saw in pakistan n india...n the result is that ppl blame pakistanis n thats stereo typing n i hate that...

hmm well yes ppl cn step up but if ppl need to re-think their way of living...first of all global warming becums a problem...then these terrorists..cum on r we here to fight or improve lives....i think its rather not toooo late but its late....

hmm yea...i really feel they r going the rong way despite the fact that many ppl show them the way...the tru way....
