The Last Cookie

Just looking at it,
Laying there.
Just looking at it,
Ready to be eaten.
Laying there all alone.

Just looking at the nice, brown chocolate,
The peanut butter,
Everything.
Makes me just wanna grab it.
Grab and eat.

But I’m just sitting here,
And dreaming about that delicious cookie.
Just sitting here and thinking,
Thinking that it will one day be melting in my mouth.

I raise my hand to get the smooth, round cookie.
Touching it and feeling the delicious chocolate on my fingers.
Feeling it melting in my mouth.
It, the last cookie.
