I lie motionless on the floor
My eyes swelling up with tears
My heart saying hold on tight
My mind saying face your fear

A decision that can change two lives
'Cause my love for you is still so strong
And I vowed to stay lonely for you
But you have been away for oh so long

I stare deep into your eyes
As I hold your picture tight
I'm searching for one answer
Do I free you tonight?

I no longer know what to think
And I don't know what to feel
It's all become a painful numbness
And I wonder if 'we' was ever real
