आँख में ख़्वाबों को सजाती हूँ
या कहो मुसीबतें बुलाती हूँ

जश्न महफ़िल में मैं मनाती हूँ
अश्क़ तन्हाई में बहाती हूँ

प्यार क्यूँ तुमसे कर लिया मैंनें  
आज भी खुद को मैं सताती हूँ

देख के सच्चाइयाँ ज़माने की
कौन सा खुद को मैं दिखाती हूँ

देख लो मेरी भी कभी दुनियाँ
किस तरह वक़्त यहाँ बिताती हूँ

जान मेरी रुक तो सही दो पल
ज़िंदगी ढूँढ के मैं  लाती हूँ

समझना बहुत ही मुश्क़िल है
जान ये किसके दम चलाती हूँ
