Aap phunchey hain jahaan, ham bhi wahin pahuncheyngey!
Aap ki tarah, saath ham bhi kuchh nahin leyngey!!

Waqt kee baat hai, shabnam mein rawaan hongey ham;
Aur, har gunchah-e-gulaab ko hawaa deyngey!

Har taraf baag mein baad-e-bahaar doleygee;
Andleeboun key saath ham bhi gungunaayengey!

Aashiyaanoun mein bulbuloun key numaaindey jab
Chahchahaayengey: saath ham khushee manaayengey!

Mouj-e-daryah pai  phudaktey huye taaroun ki tarah,
Ham, ‘abd’,  ho shareek saath muskuraayengey!
