Aaj Apne Hi Des Mein Ek Ajnabi Hue Hai Hum,
Is Ghutan Ke Saath Saans Liye Jaate Hai Hum,

Kal Hi Tha Yahan Mere Saath Doston Ka Kaafila,
Aaj Veerane Ka Saamna Kiye Jaa Rahe Hai Hum,

The Moti Se Keemti Mere Ashq Is Gulisaan Mein,
Aj Un Motiyon Ko Paani Banta Dekh Rahe Hai Hum,

Banjar Se Dilon Mein Utar Bhi Jaaye Mere Ansu To,
Gili Bhi Hogi Kya Mitti Ye Soche Jaa Rahe Hai Hum,

Kuch Darakhton Ke Saaye Mein Rehte The Har Pal,
Unki Panahon Ki Berukhi Ab Sahe Jaa Rahe Hai Hum,

Sajaya Tha Ye Aashiyaan Humne Jazbaton Ke Phoolose,
Un Phoolonki Chubhan Se Ab Sehem Gaye Hai Hum,

Apne Libaas Se Lapet Liye Kachhe-Pakke Dhage Humne,
