बातें  मुलाक़ातें  जारी  रहनी चाहिये
ज़िंदगी खुशियों से तारी रहनी चाहिये
 
हम देखना लूटेंगे ए दिल वस्ल के मज़े
कम सही मगर बेक़रारी रहनी चाहिये

आ रंग कोई भर डालें इस तस्वीर में
ज़िंदगी  की सूरत प्यारी रहनी चाहिये

हम ढूँढ लेंगे लाख बहाने खुशियों के
यारो  जश्न  की तैयारी रहनी चाहिये

आसान हो जाएँगी इन राहों की मुश्क़िल
यूँ क़दम- क़दम मज़ेदारी रहनी चाहिये

जीओ कभी खुद के लिये खुद की तरह
खुद पे  इतनी इख्तियारी रहनी चाहिये
 
दामन सज़ा रजनी का पूनम के चाँद से
कुछ इम्तिहान की तैयारी रहनी चाहिये
