Ab key bahaar mian gul kuch aanjanay thay
Mera kitna apna ho kay bhee wo bayganay thay

Ous key gelee say guzr, ek ejeb dastaan thee yaroo
Nazrain ek der pay theen jameen, hum bhee kaisay mastanay thay

Rooh chelnee key, dil tour dala, ab hed-e-sitem yeh
Meree dastaan kay, na ehl zabanoun pay afsanay thay

Rishta un say mohabbat ka tha ya edawet ka koi silsila?
Pehlay thay sebhee apnay, ab jo howeh bayganeh thay

Kuch youn bhee zakhm-e-judai sehna muskil tha
Hum thay nayeh, aur sitemger yeh anjaney thay

Khoob behanay ker, teree zabaan jitna keray inkaar
Dil main tou ousee key chahet kay teranay thay

Yaar-e-bayperwah mananay ko kyun hay beqaraar KHAKI?
Loag tou tujhay routhay howeh, bahut say menanay thay...
