Hum se bhaagaa na karo door Gazaalon ki tarah!
Humne chaahaa hai tumhen chaahane waalon ki tarah !

Khud-ba-Khud neend-si aankhon mein ghuli jaati hai,
Mahaki mahaki hai shab-e-Gham tere baalon ki tarah!

Aur kyaa is se ziyaadaa koi narmi bartoon,
Dil ke zakhmon ko chhuaa hai tere gaalon ki tarah!

Aur to mujh ko milaa kyaa meri mehanat kaa silaa,
Chand sikke hain mere haath mein chhaalon ki tarah!

Zindagi jis ko teraa pyaar milaa woh jaane,
ham to naakaam rahe chaahane waalon ki tarah!
