mera dil nazuk hai  phoolo ki tareh hai,
qashmqash main fasi kashti ki tareh hai,

ye khat nahi mera haal e dil beyaan hai,
padhke mehsoos karna yaado ki tareh hai,

har lamha kisi ke khiyal dil  main bahe,
waqt  gujarta nahi  sadiyo ki tareh hai,

chaahe din ho ya  raat sirf sochu tujhe,
woh zindagi ke bane falsafe ki tareh hai

tum bin jeena nahi ye dhaan lee hai abb,
khushi mangni padi  kishto ki tareh hai,

hijar ki lou main na jalna hame kabhi yu
zism jalega nahi gili lakdi ki tareh hai,
