He baat koi jo baykal he
ye dil he mera ya pagal he

ye kaisa jeewan sagar he
na lehrein hein na halchal he

sehra he ta hadd-e-nazar
pani kee khali chagal he.

kaise kare koi isko paar
raah mein gehri daldal he.

dhoondh rehay ho ab jo mujhe
ye sabr ka mere hee phal he

bulbul kee udaasi kehti he
dil uska bhi kuch ghayal he

aik tu chaal he mastaani
ooper se chamakti payal he

Bin mol ye dil bik jaata he
diwaana he ye pagal he!!
