Ham haqeeqat hi samajhtey rahey bahaaney ko!
Jaan beychain hai ab fir naye fasaaney ko!!

Sach hai: toubaa zaroor ki thi: tum they pahloo mein:
Bin tumhaarey, to, wahee saath hai nibhaaney ko!

Wo kyaa wajah hai, shafaq ruk rahaa hai aaney sey:
Bulbuleyn tak nahin taiyaar hain manaaney ko?

Chaand matmah hai baam par: hai ilaaqaa roshan!
Shagal hai un kaa: zarooree hai dil churaaney ko!!

Na jaaney kyaa hai, ki, beychain ho uthhaa hun main:
Phisal rahey hain qadam fir sharaabkhaaney ko?

Aaj har lamhah khilaafat pai utar aayaa hai:
Hameen miley hain usey, kyounki, aazmaaney ko?

Nisf shab, nisf hee raheygee aaj, lagtaa hai;
Lagey hain saath anaasir, mujhey sataaney ko!

Kitney afraad aa jutey hain unki khidmat mein:
Saraa samajh rahey hain, meyrey aashiyaaney ko!

Koun aayaa hai: muqaffal hain kibaadey saarey:
Haaya, beytaab hun kisko galey lagaaney ko?

Taan sun teyri baansuree ki, mujhey lagtaa hai,
Khwaab mein bhi rahaa hai jaag 'abd' gaaney ko!
