Umar bhar mujhko, gam diye tune
Phir bhi kyunN dil ko, tujhpe pyaar aaya

Aarzoo teri deed, ki lekar
Dil tere dar pe, baar baar aaya

Ab khafa zindagi, bhi hai mujhse
Gam mile aur, humne kya paaya

Dil kisi ka na toote, ab aise
Maut aayi, na hi qaraar aaya

Pyaar meiN kyuN, mile hame dhoke
Aaj tak yeh, samajh nahi aaya
