yeh bhi kya kam hai ke vaar husan
                      ka har pal to chalate ho
hum to yun hi tarhpte rehte hain
                      adhaayein dikhakar kyun state ho

khushboo hai tere khayalon mein
                      ke jab bhi sochta hoon main
mehkane lagti hai har shaam
                      jo kareeb zara sa aate ho

chehra hai aisa ke chandani ko
                      karde madham is tarah
uthakar parda jo aate ho chhat par
                      chand ko bhi jalaate ho
