ग़ज़ल
माज़ी के फ़साने जो सुनाने निकल आये
हर सिम्त से कुछ लोग पुराने निकल आये
.
दिलचस्पी थी महफ़िल में न कुछ ख़ास हमारी
बस आप से मिलने के बहाने निकल आये
.
वह ज़ख़्म तेरी ज़ात ने पैहम जो दिये हैं
तुम गिन न सकोगे जो गिनाने निकल आये
.
आवाज़ अभी हक़ की उठाई ही थी हम ने
हाकिम के दलाल उस को दबाने निकल आये
.
थी दाने बराबर ही मगर दब न सकी बात
जब अहले-सियासत ही भुनाने निकल आये
.
जो कर दिया भाई से ज़रा ख़फ़्गी का इज़हार
सब भाई नमक - मिर्च लगाने निकल आये
.
कैसे मैं भला काटूं ' हसन ' हिज्र की रातें
जब उन का तसव्वुर ही सताने निकल आये
.
