Raat maine chand, beech badal dekha
Yaad meiN dil ko hote, paagal dekha

Raat bhar bas, dekhte rahe chand ko
Chehra us meiN tera hi, har pal dekha

Subah jab doondhli hui, tasveer teri
AankhoN se behta hua, kajal dekha

Raat guzri, phir mehekti subah aayi
AansuoN meiN bheega hua, ek anchal dekha

Dundh kahin chupa na le, aaj chand ko
Nazar aaye wohi chehra, jo kal dekha
