Sakht mushkil mein mera dil he
Rukkhee madfun pe jaise sil he!
 
Chaand bhi maaand jis ke aagay?
Woh  zanakhdaan ka teray til he!

Pal mein jannat toe pal mein dozakh...
Ye hee dunya-e-aab-o-gil he.

Tujh se milne ko ay mere dost
Mujh se betaab mera dil he.

Naasih teri zabaan allamaan!
Saamp jaise daroon-e-bil he.
