Chehray kitne  ajeeb hotay hein
dost ban ker raqeeb hotay hein

sard ratoan ke khwab kion aksar
holnaak o muheeb hotay hein?


Anjum o maah  kee tarah mehboob
Door ho kar qareeb hotay hein

Lazatt e Wasl jin ko milti he
woh bade khush naseeb hotay hein.


likhte rehte hein man gharat batein
 Kitne jhootay adeeb hotay hein


Shayiroan kee he shayiree jhooti
Kaghazi andaleeb hotay hein!
