Har lamhey, kuchh na kuchh sunaaney kee!
Unko aadat hai budbudaaney kee!!

Roz wo kuchh bee thaan letey hain;
Talab hai unko aazmaaney kee!

Imtihaanoun kaa dour jaaree hai;
Had bhee hoti hai kuchh bahaaney kee!

Aaj bhee hain bahut bhaley insaan:
Justajoo chaahiye zamaaney kee!

Beywajah roz roothtey hain wo;
Dhamkiyaan deykey chaley jaaney kee!

Ab mahalley mein, 'abd', charchaa hai:
Koshisheyn huyeen hain manaaney kee!
