Ajnabi hu.N magar sab se mulaaqaat achhchi lagti hai
Aye jaan-e-jaaN tere ishq me saari qaayenaat achhchi lagti hai

Dekha hai jab se tujh ko azab huaa hai mashgala hamara
Zindagi jeene ki tamanna baddh gayi hayaat achhchi lagti hai
Aye jaan-e-jaaN tere ishq me saari qaayenaat achhchi lagti hai


Tu jugnuu ki tarah timtimaye main taroN ki tarah jhilmilauN
Tu bhi chali aa main bhi chala aau.N raat achhchi lagti hai
Aye jaan-e-jaaN tere ishq me saari qaayenaat achhchi lagti hai


Bin tere ek pal ab kisi haal mein nahiN katTa hai aaj kal
Tujh ko soochu tujh jaisa boluN teri har baat achhchi lagti hai
Aye jaan-e-jaaN tere ishq me saari qaayenaat achhchi lagti hai


Anjaam-e-mohabbat ka hai tujh ko kuch khayal “irshad”
Ye marz hi aisa hai sabhi ko shuruaat achhchi lagti hai
