Apne dil meiN buland, tera muqaam karte hain
Tasveer teri banakar, tujhe salaam karte hain

Jodhkar hum apni saansoN ko, teri saansoN se
Tujhse muhabbat ka izhaar, sare aam karte hain

Zara meri aankhoN ki, betaabiyaN bhi padhlo
Mere girte hue ashk, tujhe yeh paigaam karte hain

So nahiN paati aankheiN, lamha e intezaar mein
Apni beqarai aur tadap ko, hum tere naam karte hain

Teri mehfileiN khushiyoN se, saji aur aabaad rahe
Tere liye jaana dua ham, yehi subah shaam karte hain

Tu chaahe ya na chaahe, koi gila nahiN “Aqsh” ko
Apni wafa tujhe pesh ,bataur e inaam karte hain
