किसने मुझसे कहा है आने को ?
खुद हूँ तैयार, जबकि, जाने को !

साक़ियः तूने यह किया है क्या ;
घर समझता हूँ बादःखाने को ?

कुछ नहीं, सब थे वायदे झूठे ;
दास्ताँ हैं कई, बहाने को !

बाग़ है, गुल नहीं हैं, कांटे हैं !
फिर भी मुश्ताक़ हूँ बचाने को !!

तुम यहीं हो, 'अबद',  अकेला हूँ ;
यार को बारहा मनाने को !
