बेवफा नहीं वफादार चाहिए,
पागल नहीं समझदार चाहिए..

जिन्दगी भर जो साथ निभाएं,
मुझे भी ऐसा हकदार चाहिए..

सम्भाल ले गिरते अश्कों को,
मुझे साथी असरदार चाहिए..

भीड़ में थाम ले जो हाथ मेरा,
मुझे ऐसा जागीरदार चाहिए..

मेरे बीतें लम्हों का रखे हिसाब,
मुझे भी साथी राजदार चाहिए..

समझे जो दिल का हाल 'ऋषि'
मुझे भी ऐसा दिलदार चाहिए..
